The 2014 Honda Fit available on the Japanese automaker's home turf is a next-generation version. The same generational overhaul for the U.S., however, isn't scheduled to happen until 2015.
At Honda of Westport, we can't help but be a small bit jealous that our friends overseas are getting a newer and cooler Fit model before we do. We are betting that other American Honda fans out there feel the same way.

MUGEN, a subdivision of our favored Japanese automaker and provider of high-performance Honda parts, has been working diligently on a brand new motorsport-like line of components to be utilized on the Japanese 2014 Fit edition.
Starting in September, parts will go up for sale and available on both Honda Cars and Japanese-based specialty MUGEN stores.
MUGEN will create different lines parts to reach various markets. There will be options available for motorists seeking enhanced performance from their everyday Fit experience and also for race car drivers.
Available parts include two front spoiler options, under spoiler, an aero bumper, and more. Options are completely customizable. Customers can add (or not add) parts based on their preferences.
