Honda Accord

Honda offers three engines, including a hybrid. A four-cylinder engine gives you 192-horsepower and 192-pound-feet of torque that takes the Accord from 0-60 mph in 7.2-seconds. Fuel economy is an EPA-estimated 38-miles-per-gallon on the highway or 35-miles-per-gallon if you choose the Sport or Sport SE trims.

The Honda Accord seats five across two rows of seating. Legroom up front measures 42.3-inches and rear seat passengers have 40.4-inches in which to stretch their legs. Cargo volume in the trunk is rated at an impressive 16.7-cubic-feet.

Newer models come with an eight-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless functionality on the Honda Accord Sport 2.0T, Honda Accord EX-L, and Honda Accord Touring. The Honda Accord Touring also adds smartphone capability to lock, unlock, and track the car, as well as notify of a collision.

Honda Clarity

Similar in size to the Honda Accord but is only offered with a pair of alternative-fuel powertrains, as a plug-in hybrid and fuel cell vehicle. Most Honda Clarity sedans are fitted with a plug-in hybrid powertrain consisting of a 1.5-liter engine, an electric motor, and a 17-kilowatt lithium-ion battery. Primarily your drive is handled by the motor and battery and the Honda Clarity gas engine generally acts as a generator but can contribute to acceleration at full throttle. Total system output is an impressive 212-horsepower.

The Honda Clarity seats five across two rows of seating. It provides 42.2-inches of legroom up front, and 36.2-inches of rear legroom. Cargo volume with the trunk is 15.5-cubic-feet. Newer models come with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and satellite radio capabilities, plus eight-speaker audio. Opting for the Honda Clarity Touring trim adds integrated navigation. Fuel cell models include a 12-speaker premium system with a subwoofer.

Honda Civic Sedan

Consistently one of the best-selling compact cars, the Honda Civic has earned the praise it receives by featuring a fun and engaging driving experience, impressive fuel economy, and comfortable interior features. The Honda Civic is available in two other body styles than the sedan, with their coupe and hatchback.

The base engine is a 2.0-liter engine with 158-horsepower and 138-pound-feet of torque in the LX and Sport versions of the sedan. The Honda Civic sedan and LX Sedan come standard with a six-speed manual transmission, and an EPA-estimated 25-mile-per-gallon in the city and 36-miles-per-gallon on the highway. Also available is a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine with 174-horsepower and 162-pound-feet of torque.

All Civic Sedans feature 15.1-cubic-feet of cargo volume, while legroom measures at 42.3-inches in the front and 37.4-inches in the rear seat. Newer models come with seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, HondaLink® smartphone connectivity, and Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ capability, plus USB ports.

Honda Insight

The four-door hybrid sedan from Honda comes with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor. The engine produces 107-horsepower and 99-pound-feet of torque, while the motor turns 129-horsepower and 197-pound-feet. The Honda Insight hybrid engine accelerates from 0-60-miles-per-hour in only 7.7-seconds.

Combined system horsepower is 152 when measured at the peak output of the two power sources. Or tap Sport mode to change your drive and engage the highly responsive engine. Or, activate EV mode and enjoy gentle cruising on pure electricity. The Insight's trunk offers 15.1-cubic-feet of cargo room, plus folding rear seats for added volume. Front legroom is 42.3-inches and 37.4-inches for rear occupants.

Entry-level Insight models get a five-inch color infotainment screen. It includes Bluetooth streaming audio and a USB charge port in the center console, and a six-speaker system. Mid-range Insights get an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen that includes Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, plus Sirius XM™ and HD radio. A second USB port is added to the front console, and the sound system is upgraded to an eight-speaker setup. All Insight models get a digital display in the dashboard that can be configured to show information like range, economy, driver-assist system status, or hybrid powertrain data.
