The popularity of new Honda models has been gaining momentum in the Westport, CT area and the rest of the country, lately.

And, this is not true of just the ever-popular small cars like the Honda Fit or Civic but also of the 'light' truck segment which includes autos like the Honda CR-V, Pilot and Odyssey which recently arrived, in its latest version, here at Honda of Westport.

"Honda was firing on all cylinders in June with the hot-selling Accord joined by the Fit, CR-V, Odyssey and Pilot all posting their best sales of the year," says John Mendel, executive vice president of sales at American Honda. "Our goal for 2013 is to be the leader in retail sales for all four of our highest volume models: Accord, Civic, CR-V and Odyssey. These solid results further showcase Honda's pure, market-driven momentum achieved by customers choosing Honda vehicles one at a time rather than relying on fleet sales to drive volume."1

As for the specific numbers for the abovementioned models, the Honda Accord sold more than 30,000 units for the fourth month in a row, amounting to a 20.4 percent increase, year-over-year. The CR-V sold 26,572 units (a new June record), the Pilot sold 12,085 (also a best June record) and the Odyssey boasted a 26.0 percent increase with a total of 14,000 units sold.

If you're interested in learning more about any of these models or other new Honda ones, then we invite you to contact Honda of Westport either online or by stopping to see us at 1372 Post Road, anytime.
